I’ve always been fond of Massimo Vignelli’s design of the New York subway system maps, as well as New York subway graffiti and its rich history. During one of my visits to the city, I explored an abandoned subway tunnel in West Harlem and was blown away at the number, scale, and quality of the art. This project was inspired by Vignelli and that experience. The last photo was taken from deep inside the subway tunnel ( artwork by @bushcamp1989 ).
